City bus
The Barcelona bus system is slower than the metro, but has the advantage of giving you fantastic views of the city while you travel. There are more than 70 bus lines and one journey costs €1.35.
Tourist bus
Start your sightseeing day in Barcelona with the buses of the Northern, Southern and Forum routes which are at most of the stops from 9:00 to 9:30 in the morning. The last ones departs from Plaça de Catalunya at 7:00 pm in winter (November to March) and at 8:00 pm in summer (April to October). Both, Northern and Southern, routes last about 2 hours and they run daily all year round (except December 25th and January 1st). Note that the Forum route only operates between March 14 to September 28.
Buses run every 5 to 25 minutes, according to the season.
