Metro
The fastest way of getting around Barcelona is by taking the metro. There are two companies: TMB and FGC, and numerous lines. Barcelona has a clean, punctual, air-conditioned metro system that will take you to most of the major areas of the city
Metro timetables:
Monday – Thursday, Sunday/holiday – 5:00 am to 12:00 am
Fridays – 5:00 am to 2:00 am
Saturdays and day prior to 1/1, 24/6, 15/8 and 24/9 – Non-stop service
Prices metro:
One way ticket in zone 1 costs 1,30 €
Targeta and ticket for 10 journeys costs 7,20€
