magicfountain1 Sants MontjuïcSants Montjuïc is a very vivid and nice district to go to. It is situated in the South-East of Barcelona and is formerly known as a military basis. Nowadays it is real boasting quarter whith a large amount of world famous art museums, theatres, bars, restaurants and clubs…

The first time I was in this district, I took a visit to the wonderful Montjuïc. There you are able to admire all kinds of art, buildings and constructions that were made for the Olympic Games in 1992. It is really fun to start a weekend night with some friends near the Font Mágica when it is all lit up in different colours!

Sants is such a nice and safe neighbourhood that I decided to look for a place to stay for a couple of months. I found one through Barcerlona-home.com, they really

helped me out! Now I can take my time to discover the small and less tourist areas in this part of Barcerlona. A couple of days ago, I discovered a fresh market that is designed by the same architect as the one who designed La Boquería near La Rambla. The Mercat Hostafrancs is a really nice place to buy some fresh fruit, fish or meat!
