If you ever visit any anywhere without needing instructions on how to find the most pumping nightlife, it is Ibiza. You only have to leave one of the numerous pubs or discotheques, especially in c/Barcelona, only to enter another, right next door. trans Ibiza NightlifeThe smaller villages of the island don’t have as good a nightlife as the capital, but at least in San Antonio Abad you won’t have the slightest difficulty finding what you’re looking for.

Clubbing fiends, high-fashion gurus, movies stars and party-hungry backpackers arrive in droves to debauch in the islands outrageous, sex and substance-driven summer culture. Flashy bars appear seemingly out of nowhere, filling street after street with neon lights, banging music and fast-talking party promoters. Come 3am, the scene migrates to the clubs, where parties last until dawn – and often well into the next day…then it all begins again.

Although a thriving gay community still lends credence to its image as a centre of “tolerance”, the islands high price tags preclude economic diversity. The typical Ibiza tourist season runs from the beginning of May until the end of October. During this time all of the bars and restaurants are open.

On public holidays, all shops, banks, and museums are closed. So if you are going to be in Ibiza during a public holiday, make sure you do not plan to go shopping on these days, because the majority of shops and restaurants will be closed. Many different districts have their own holidays which they celebrate. Many taxi’s will charge a small fee on holidays. Es Vedra Rock

This is one of the most marvelous places in Ibiza. The rock stands around 400 metres above the sea level and looks unforgetable especially during the sunset. There is a boat service available, which lets you to have a closer look at this natural phenomen.

Cova d’es Culleram

The Culleram cave was discovered 1907. It used to be a temple for the goddess Tanoit. The majority of treasures that were found in the cave, are displayed in the Archaeological Museum in Ibiza.

Paseo Vara de Rey

This place is the heart of Ibiza. There you can find everything: nice bars, restaurants, the best known shops and many other things. Everything in one place makes Paseo Vara de Rey one of the main spots for hanging out in Ibiza.

Cova de Can Marça

This caves complex is one of the mosts visited attractions in Ibiza island. Spectacular sounds and lights, which were put into the caves, provides visitors with the breathtaking impression. Additionally, guided tours are available.

Las Salinas

Las Salinas, or the salt flats, are one of the most famous landmarks in Ibiza Island. As the water evaporates during the hot summer, a sparkling layer of pure salt is left on the bottom of the lake. So this is one of the most beautiful spots for sunset photos. By the way, these salt flats have been in used for around 2000 years.

Catedral de Santa Maria de Ibiza

The cathedral was built after the Catalan conquest in 1235. Interesting feature about the cathedral is that half of it was built in Gothic style and the rest in Baroque style. Moreover, you can find a Diocesan museum inside. However currently it is under reconstuction.

D’Alt Vila

It is an Ibiza’s old town. Narrow, cobblestone streets and venues, charming houses, and Gothic buildings makes this place really inspiring. Through the historic building you can still see the remains of Roman, Phoenician and Moorish regimes. Moreover, the D’Alt Vila was registered as a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

This museum offers a huge collection of prehistoric artifacts and relics dating from the times when the island was ruled by the Carthaginians, Romans and the Moorish. Here you can discover small statues, coins and ceramics. The building itself has a history of its own, it was, over 300 years ago the home of Ibiza’s government. This museum was founded 1963, and was then a part of the biennial international art show. Here you can discover an art gallery with works by both local and international artists.

Many say that this art gallery is one of its best on the island. Housing both local and international artists with massive exhibits containing both works of art and photographs.

The Carthaginians discovered Ibiza island and founded Ibiza town in 654 B.C. This makes the town one of the oldest towns in Europe.  Moreover, it was one of the most important ports in those days. In the 1960´s many hippies started to come to Ibiza, often called, White Island. People were attracted by its wonderful weather, beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. According to statistrics, 95% of all economy relies on various tourism activities.

Today there are many historical and cultural places that are worth visiting in Ibiza. All of  them shows a diverse history of the island, because as it is noticed, those who explore Ibiza today, are confronted again and again by obvious evidences of the wild past of the island.  So, although Ibiza is far better known for its never ending parties, it has a great history as well and it cannot be forgotten.

Ibiza may not be famous for its sports, but there is certainly enough to keep the sports fan occupied. The variety of sports range from golf, hiking, cycling and horse riding to water sports like sailing, windsurfing, fishing, snorkeling, and diving. Golf Club de Ibiza is a par 72 and you are able to rent equipment and even get a few lessons from the in-house pros. A growing pastime in Ibiza is hiking. The hills of the island provide hikers with ample hill time, picturesque terrain and some stunning views. If you enjoy horseback riding then you will be able to enroll in a beginner’s class or a class for experienced riders. Ibiza is full of scenic trails which, you can enjoy on horseback or even on a bicycle.
The rental of mountain bikes is relatively cheap and is becoming increasingly popular. The climate in Ibiza is ideal for windsurfing, as the conditions are not too extreme. This provides a good opportunity for beginners to learn the sport, and in time, perfect their skills. You will find schools that offer classes and rent equipment. The most popular water sport in Ibiza is sailing. They have many high profile events around the island, which draw in world class sailors and yachtsmen.
The most popular and widely attended event on the water sports calendar is Mallorca’s King’s Cup. Nearly every town in Ibiza has its own marina and enters teams each year. Fishing is not very popular in Ibiza, but they do have places that organize fishing outings that can be a lot of fun. The waters along the coastline of Ibiza are clear and clean. You will find a wide range of sea life below the surface, which is great to those that wish to go snorkeling or diving.
Snorkeling and diving are very popular and courses are provided for those that wish to attend them, but for those that wish to go scuba diving you must hold the relevant certificates. Alternative water sports in Ibiza include things like high speed water bikes, paragliding behind speedboats, water skiing, rubber rafting behind speedboats and also sea kayaking.

When you are entering the mythic floor of the Space Discotheque you will see a full room with an extravagant party crowd, dancing every Saturday, to the sound of the dj´s.

Usually the music is going  from house to electro. The fantastic sound system, as well as, the live performances of dancers and vocalists on the big stage will  bring you close to the Ibiza-culture.

All in all, this may be the reason that Space Ibiza is one of the best clubs in the world right now.
